As a celebration of the good harvest, Koreans visit their ancestral hometowns and share a feast of Korean traditional food such as songpyeon.
One of the major foods prepared and eaten during the Chuseok holiday is songpyeon (송편), a crescent-shaped rice cake which is steamed upon pine needles. Other foods commonly prepared are japchae, bulgogi and fruits.
Before, I wasn't aware of the Chuseok Festival. But when I met SS501, I began to be interested in Korea's culture and language. Surely, they made a big contribution in my life and I am thankful everyday for their existence. Even though our boys wasn't able to celebrate this special day together, (since Hyun Joong is filming for 'Mischievous Kiss', Jung Min is in Japan for his Musical, Hyung Jun, Young Saeng and Kyu Jong might be celebrating it with their relatives and friends) I hope by making this compilation of their pictures when they were together would be enough to reminisce those happy times.
This was during their first few months together |
