Kim Hyun Joong to “Break Down” Malaysia with album & “The Face Shop” promotions
Kim Hyun Joong will be bringing his first solo debut mini album “Break Down” to Malaysia for a promotional tour on the 20th and 21st of August, with a free admission “high-five” session that will be held for the fans. It has been stated that he will not be performing and giving out autographs during the “high-five” session.
Kim Hyun Joong will hold a press conference after arriving on the 20th of August, and follow by a “high-five” session on the 21st. ”The “high-five” session will be held in public. Although it is free admission, we will still select fans based on certain qualifications to go on stage to have a “high-five” with Kim Hyun Joong,” said a spokesman of Warner Music Malaysia.
Kim Hyun Joong had just visited Malaysia late last year on the 4th of December as the ambassador of Korean cosmetic brand, “The Face Shop”. This time round, he will be staying in the country for 3 days and 2 nights. It is understood that as part of his role as brand ambassador, he will also be joining The Face Shop’s promotional campaign on the 22nd August. “The Face Shop” has revealed that Kim Hyun Joong is planning to visit each of “The Face Shop” outlet in respective countries to have a photo session with selected fans plus an autograph-on-the-spot session with fans selected from lucky draws.
Kim Hyun Joong‘s “Breakdown” album has achieved sales of more than 100,000 copies on the Hanteo Chart in 2 weeks, making it the only physical album that breaks the 100,000 copies sales in Korea in year 2011 following TVXQ and Big Bang.
