Debuted as the group SS501, singer Kim KyuJong transformed into an arrogant prince.
The fantasy setting musical ‘Goong’ successfuly kicked off its first performance in Japan where all the seats were sold.
On the last 10th of June, the first performance in Minamijwa Kabuki Theater in Kyoto, Japan have started. Many of the audiences came from Korea, Taiwan and other parts of Asia to support.
Filled with overflowing emotion, Kabuki Theater is the perfect place for musical ‘Goong’ for its peculiar atmosphere to capture the audiences’ hearts, and when the show starts, the appearance of Kim KyuJong dressed up as the Prince making the entrance would heat up the atmosphere.
Shortly after the performance, Kim KyuJong’s counterpart, Kwak Sunyoung who acts as Shin ChaeKyeong praised ‘So far until now, Kim KyuJong was the most humble among the musical Goong team. Kim KyuJong said, ‘The musical feels different and unique. Although I feel intense terribly, I still have to live up my energies for the musical. However, the first performance ended safe and sound, and because of the audience’s support, I will work my best as the Prince for every performance’.
